Does anyone know what will be the requirements to play Blue Mage?

Hi:

I'm looking forward to Blue Mage releasing in early January. I believe that is less than a month away, depending on when it is released.

But what are the requirements for Blue Mage? I know other Jobs/Classes require certain other Jobs/Classes to reach a certain level as well as sometimes a requirement of a certain point in the Main story line quest.

So, is there any news here?

I want to start a completely new character just for Blue Mage.

As far as I know, beating 2.x story (or maybe just 2.0) and being level 50.

Thanks. I fear it's really tough to start character in this game because I once again have to do the story plot. That's why I'm always reluctant to start a new character.

Just need to have a character at 50 and have done the 2.0 MSQ. Don't need Heavensward, Stormblood or Shadowbringers to access it.

EDIT: Obviously not Shadowbringers since its coming in 4.5 haha, was mostly trying to make the point that you don't need any expansions.
