Help..i cant mark my map or see party members on the map

I turned off some of the system settings for a hide and seek FC party and lost the ability to see or make marks on the map like for hunts...and cant even see party members on the map either. can anyone help me restore this? i dont know what character controls to reset or how even to reset to default ..thanks for help much appreciated in advance..it is very hard to do treasure hunts not being able to see my own marks or those of my party.

Click this button multiple times. Stop when it shows what you want it to show you. It has several settings.
