As we are approaching the end of Stormblood and the dawn of a new expansion, the NA FRC finalists and community veterans decided to hold a roundtable discussion on changes we'd like to see implemented.
The following is our vision. Based on countless hours of discussion and deliberation.

5.0 PvP changes and new abilities (Patch 4.41)
Please consider adding more abilities to future iterations of Feast. Below are some changes and abilities that the NA community would like to see added.
Tanks
Paladin
Shield Swipe (NEW): Deal a 500 potency attack to the target.
Additional Effect: Pacification (disables weaponskills)
Additional Effect: Reduces the recast of Intercept by 5 seconds.
Duration: 4s
Oath Gauge Cost: 25
Recast: 30s
Intercept (NEW): Rush to an ally’s side, granting them a 1000 potency shield.
Additional Effect: Reduces the recast of Cover by 5 seconds.
Range: 15y
Recast: 30s
Cover: Increase recast to 20s (up from 3s).
Cover no longer causes the Paladin to take additional damage.
If 7500 damage is covered, resets Shield Swipe recast timer with no Oath Gauge cost.
Requiescat: Increase range from 3y to 8y. Increase attack magic potency to 35%.
Holy Spirit: Cost reduced to 2000 MP.
Clemency: Cost reduced to 2000 MP.
Increase Paladin maximum HP to 15,000.
Warrior
Warrior base combos altered:
Butcher’s Block Combo replaced with Storm’s Eye Combo. Storm’s Eye applies 10% increased damage taken.
Combo tree: Heavy Swing > Maim > Storm’s Eye/Storm’s Path
Maim potency increased from 750 to 1000, Storm’s Path potency increased from 1250 to 1500
Storm’s Path refreshes Storm’s Eye Debuff and grant a Rampage Stack
Rampage (NEW, Mechanic): Warrior now gains a Rampage stack upon using certain actions: Fell Cleave, Inner Beast, Upheaval, Onslaught, and Storm’s Path.
Once at 5 stacks, Rampage will be consumed and amplify one of the following actions
Fell Cleave: Increased damage to 2500 potency and apply 10% healing debuff
Thrill of War: Increase maximum HP by 15% and increase healing received by 10% for self and nearby party members for 10s
Inner Beast: Increase damage to 2,000 potency and reduces damage taken by 25%
Upheaval (NEW): Delivers an attack with a potency of 500. Potency increases up to 200% as HP nears maximum.
Additional effect: Slow +50%
Duration: 4s
Beast Gauge Cost: 20
Recast: 20s
Inner Release: Also nullifies Confusion, Slow, Pacification.
Holmgang: Target is always placed within range of Warrior to attack.
Dark Knight
Tar Pit (NEW): Place a tar pit on the ground that causes enemies to take 200 potency per second and be immediately heavied upon entering and while standing in the tar pit. This heavy effect is unique (does not cause Heavy status ailment and prevents movement actions).

Carnal Chill (NEW): Chills the area around the target, dealing 1000 potency to the target and reducing attack potency of all targets within range by 20%.

Soul Swap (NEW): You and the targeted party member swap health percentages. Increases the lower health percentage of the two to 25% if below that amount. Usable while stunned.

Power Slash: Add Combo Bonus: Increases Blood Gauge by 10.
Plunge: Reduce to 25s recast. Plunge speed as fast as PvE iteration.
Healers
White Mage
Plenary Indulgence (NEW): Remove a single detrimental status effect of nearby party members.
Additional Effect: Restores own HP and the HP of nearby party members.
Cure Potency: 1,000
1 Lily: 10%
2 Lilies: 25%
3 Lilies: 50%

Recast: 60s
Asylum (NEW): Envelops a designated area in a veil of succor granting healing over time for all allies within radius while in the veil of succor.
Cure Potency: 250
Additional Effect: Depletes 200/50/200 HP/TP/MP from all enemies within the veil every second.

Radius: 5y
Recast: 60s
Regen: Additional Effect: Grants a Lily upon restoring 3000 HP (must restore amount for Lily).
Cure II: Potency increased from 4500 to 5000
Scholar
Summon II Selene (NEW): Summons the faerie Selene to fight at your side. Each time you use the Broil action on an enemy, Selene will execute Fey Burn on the target depleting 50/200 TP/MP.
Adds a Fey Wind icon on the Scholar’s frames indicating that Selene is currently summoned.
Faerie Gauge Cost: 10
Depletes Faerie Gauge by 10 periodically while summoned.
Excogitation (NEW): Grants target party member other than self the effect of Excogitation, restoring HP when member's HP falls below 50% or upon effect duration expiration. Potency reduced by half if used below 50% or upon effect duration expiration.
Cure Potency: 3500
Duration: 6s
Additional Effect: Increases Faerie Gauge by 10
Aetherflow Gauge Cost: 1
Recast: 40s
Adloquium: Strength of shield increased from 50% to 66% of heal.
Eye for an Eye: Affects Adrenaline Rushes.
Aura Blast: Decrease recast to 45s.
Add Fey Illumination icon on the Scholar’s frames to indicate that Eos is currently summoned.
Astrologian
Royal Road (NEW): Enhances the effect of the next card used.
Balance and Bole: 15%
Ewer and Spire: Ewer 600 potency, Spire 150 potency
Recast: 60s
Haste (NEW): Grants a party member 15% attack speed and extends the duration of Astrologian buffs on a target other than self by 5s.
Duration: 6s
Mana Cost: 1000MP
Recast: 45s
Earthly Star (NEW): Place an Earthly Star on a party member and grants the effect of Earthly Dominance that explodes around the target, dealing damage and healing allies within range.
Duration: 15s
Recast: 45s
Earthly Star starts as Earthly Dominance and changes to Giant Dominance after 5s.
Stellar Burst (NEW): 500 damage, 750 healing
Stellar Explosion (NEW): 1000 damage, 1500 healing
Disable: Affects Adrenaline Rushes.
Benefic II: Potency increased from 4500 to 5000.
Melee DPS
Dragoon
Bloodbath (NEW): Absorb 25% of damage dealt as HP.
Duration: 10s
Recast: 60s
Dragonfire Dive (NEW): Delivers an attack to all enemies near the target with a potency of 1250 potency for the first enemy, 25% less for the second, 50% for the third, and 75% less for all remaining enemies.
Additional Effect: Gain 50 TP for each opponent hit.
Recast: 45s
Blood of the Dragon: Reduces damage taken by 5%.
Life of the Dragon: Increases damage dealt by 5%.
Jump: Movement lock reduced or removed.
Samurai
Hagakure (NEW): Convert Sen into Kenki. 15 Kenki for each converted Sen. Increases attack speed by 10%.
Additional Effect: Resets Hissatsu: Soten recast timer.
Duration: 5s
Recast: 30s
Mikazuki (NEW): Delivers an attack to all enemies in a cone before you with a potency of 1,000 for the first enemy, 25% less for the second, 50% less for the third, and 75% less for all remaining enemies.
Additional Effect: Heavy +50%
Duration: 3s
Kenki Gauge Cost: 20
Recast: 20s
GCD for Enpi reduced from 2.3s -> 1.5s
Hissatsu: Chiten: Reduces damage taken by 25% (down from 50%).
Monk
Second Wind (NEW): Instantly restores 25% of HP and TP.
Recast: 60s
Axe Kick (NEW): Delivers an attack with a potency of 1000 potency to all nearby enemies. Requires a target.
Additional Effect: Pacification (no weaponskills)
Duration: 4s
Recast: 60s
Brotherhood (NEW): Opens chakra at 3 second intervals (5 Total), increase damage done by 5% and increased healing received by 5% for self and allies.
Duration: 15s
Recast: 60s
Riddle of Earth: Now grants 10% reduced damage taken immediately, Earth's reply bonus is 10% increased damage.
Wind Tackle reduced to 20s recast.
Ninja
Vanish (NEW): Instantly enter Hide. Can only be used if no direct damage taken for 4s.
Duration: 6s
Recast: 45s
Vanish turns into Trick Attack while hidden.
Trick Attack (NEW): Delivers an attack with a potency of 1250. Only usable while in Hide.
Additional Effect: Increases target’s damage taken by 10%
Duration: 5s
Hellfrog Medium (NEW): Delivers an attack with a potency of 1500 potency.
Additional Effect: Drops burning oil on the ground, causing 200 potency per second to all enemies standing within.
Duration 5s
Additional Effect: Slow 50%
Duration: 4s
Ninki Cost: 60
Recast: 30s
Shadewalker (NEW): Transfer 25% damage taken to a party member. Damage transferred to party member is converted into damage over time with a duration of 12s.
Duration: 6s
Recast: 60s
Reduce the cost of Three Mudra to 20 Ninki. Add Ninki cost to Raiton (20), Hyoton(10), and Katon(10)
After Three Mudra use. Three Mudra changed to Raiton instead of Kakuremi. Throwing Daggers changed to Katon. Mug and Assassinate no longer change
Three Mudra: Increase duration to 8s
Adjust Assassinate to no longer require Hide for its secondary effects. Damage vulnerability replaced with healing reduction 10%. Damage over time reduced to 400 per tick.
Assassinate: Movement lock reduced or removed.
Shukuchi: Animation altered to allow for immediate teleportation similar to Hissatsu: Soten.
GCD for Throwing Daggers reduced from 2.3 -> 1.5s.
Change Aeolian Edge to Dancing Edge.
Ranged DPS
Bard
The Warden's Paean (NEW): Removes one status ailment from a target party member or self. If the target does not have a status ailment, a barrier is created nullifying the target’s next status ailment suffered.
Duration: 10s
Recast: 45s
Blast Shot (NEW): Deliver an attack with a potency of 750 to target and enemies near it.
Additional effect: 15-yalm knockback
Recast: 45s
Swiftsong (NEW): Removes Heavy while providing increased movement speed for all party members within range. Usable while in combat.
Duration: 4s
Radius: 20y
Recast: 60s
Caustic Bite: Additional Effect: Poison potency increased to 300 (up from 250).
Stormbite: Additional Effect: Wind damage over time potency increased to 250 (up from 200).
Machinist
Gauss Round (NEW): Delivers an attack with a potency of 1000 Potency.
Recast: 20s
Hypercharged Autoturret (NEW): Deploys a single-target battle turret which will deliver auto-attacks with a potency of 400 to its master's target every 3s.
Additional Effect: Applies 5% damage vulnerability to targets for 5s.
Duration: 12s
Recast: 60s
Tranquilizer (NEW): Applies Drowsy on target. Target is put to Sleep after 4s.
Duration: 2s
Recast: 45s
Blank: Increase recast time to 20s (up from 10s).
Remove Flamethrower.
Black Mage
Sharpcast (NEW): Ensures the next Thunder cast will grant Thunder III Ready.
Duration: 6s
Recast: 30s
Polyward (NEW): Creates a barrier that nullifies damage totaling up to 25% of maximum HP. Can only be cast while under the effect of Polyglot. Polyglot effect ends upon use.
Duration 10s.
Recast: 60s
Nightwing: Reduce duration of Sleep to 2s.
Aetherial Manipulation: Reduce recast to 20s. Convert no longer resets recast timer.
Thunder: Additional Effect: Lightning damage over time potency increased to 350 (up from 300).
Summoner
Most of the NA community believes that Summoner needs to be reworked, as it is currently less effective than other ranged jobs in the Feast. There are many ways to go about doing this, as posted in other threads, but here are just a couple of new ability ideas.
Entrance (NEW): Causes all enemies around you to run in a random direction for 3 seconds. (NEW status ailment Confusion). Confusion breaks on non-DoT damage.
Radius: 5y
Recast: 60s
Reflect (NEW): Nullifies all spell damage and status ailments. Reflects 50% of spell damage back to the casters. Reflects status ailments back to the casters.
Recast: 60s
Always have a pet out. Untargetable. Part of a Summoner’s identity.
Red Mage
Reduce GCD for Enchanted Redoublement, Verholy, and Verflare from 2.3s to 1.5s.
Reduce cast time of Vercure from 1.8s to 1.3s.
Casting Adrenaline no longer interrupts Melee Combo.
Reduce TP cost of Corps-a-corps and Displacement from 250 to 200
Acceleration (NEW): Allows for the casting of two tier 2 spells [Verthunder/Veraero/Impact] back-to-back.
Additional Effect: Increases Black or White mana received by 5 for each cast. Reduces the cast and recast time for the next 2 spells to 1.5s.
Recast: 45s
Example: Upon using Acceleration Verfire, Verstone, and Jolt turn into Verthunder, Veraero, and Impact that will combo back into Verthunder etc.
Adrenaline Rush
Terminal Velocity: Reduces target’s HP recovered by healing magic by 30%, up from 25%
Cometeor: Line of sight no longer nullifies damage and additional effect.
[Idea] Consider each job having their own unique Adrenaline Rush effect.
Additional PvP Actions
Add new PvP Action "Raging Strikes": Increases damage dealt by 10%.
Duration: 10s
Recast: 60s
Add new PvP Action “Largesse”: Increases healing magic potency by 15%.
Duration:10s
Recast: 60s
Add new PvP Action “H-pathy” : Transfer 20% of current HP to target party member.
Range: 30y
Recast: 60s
Add new PvP Action “Debilitate”: Reduces target’s attack potency and healing magic potency by 15% (10% for Healer/Ranged).
Range: Based off of role (Melee/Tank 5y, Healer/Range 25y).
Duration: 5s
Recast: 60s
Increase Additional Action allocation cap from 2 -> 3.
Safeguard: Reduces damage taken by 15% (down from 25%).
Quality of Life
More Feast maps. Slightly larger and wider.
Weather and Day/Night effects to Feast maps.
Special weather per map?
Different music for each map.

Allow targeting macros to work through walls.
“Focus Attack” countdown should appear on enemy party frames.
View timers for party and enemy frame status effects.
Ground target effects apply the moment a player enters them.
Ground target effects to apply every second (similar to Flamethrower).
Ground targets fixed to go max range if cursor extends further than max range.
Actions to no longer require player to face their target to avoid actions getting cancelled from alleged line of sight.

Other
Increase the activation speed of Concentrate for better use proactively to avoid getting CC’d after its use.
Add Confusion effect to CC resistances.
Add Pacification effect to CC resistances.
Add Slow effect to CC resistances.
Healing increase/reduction affects ALL actions (Spells/Abilities/Ground Target) and shielding abilities.
[Idea] Implement a test server to allow PvPers to provide feedback on game modes and job changes.
Majority of contributors consist of North American FRC finalists and top 10/100 solo queue players.
