Underutilized Cities

I noticed that the foundation and Kugane do not have holiday quest events, like little ladies day, and all saints wake etc. They are such beautiful cities! I can tell a lot of care went into them. It's a shame though because they seem underutilized. Was hoping for housing in the foundation also. That would be sick! =)

Would love to see a reconstruction effort for the foundation at some point. Those poor statues. The foundation has a LOT of empty space. I could see opportunity there for further devo, npc's special quests etc.

Events don't take place in expansion areas because they need to be accessible to all players (anyone past level 15 and able to travel between the City States).

Yoshi also made it clear in past interviews that Foundation will permenantly remain in ruins for the same reason - in that it has to appear like the Dravanians had just attacked it for all new players just starting (because when the player first arrives in Ishgard at the start of Heavensward, they literally had).

As it would be too time consuming and technically challenging to have to phase a hypothetical 'repaired Foundation' for the entire zone depending on story completion, it's easier to just keep it in ruins for new players regardless of where you are in the story I'm sorry to say.

You don’t exactly celebrate 4th of July (USA independence from British rule) in Britain now would you?

Or you wouldn’t celebrate other regional holidays across the entire world.

They could however have events in different cities specifically for them. But see player “Number473”’s statement. You would end up excluding a large portion of the player base if you did.
