Skill bar

So I’m on the maw where you fight as yashtola when it come up I have to use the pad like a mouse in the middle of my ps4 controller to use her skills while my skill bar stays grey. Is there anyway to change that so I can use her skills like my own. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't know about controller, but i tried to move the skills on my Mouse & Keyboard setup so their spots correspond to when i play WHM. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to move them.

Were you able to move the ones you were given when you played as Alphinaud? Since that fight happens before this one.

Not sure if I remember this correctly anymore, I believe any hotbar that is not your own is considered as the Other/Mount hotbar for PS4 controller users, so you must allow these hotbars to replace the Cross hotbar. But if you switch hotbar to hotbar 8 and then back, you lose that hotbar on your Cross hotbar since it isn't mapped to the Cross hotbar (we only can select Cross hotbars 1-8). You can't copy the actions over unfortunately. I've always just enabled the setting "Automatically replace cross hotbar 1 with pet hotbar when mounted" after I had a similar issue in the past. Hope this helps.

I'm also on PS4, and the hotbar just updated automatically for me.

First, try pressing R1 to see if that switches the new hotbar onto your normal buttons.

Or (you've probably tried it, but) see if you actually can use those skills with R2+[button] even though they're not in the normal position.

If not, then as Yui Tenshi suggested, have a look in settings for anything regarding the "pet hotbar" that you might need to turn on to activate it.
