    Lag in Market Wards

    So I was buying a few items from a retainer in the wards earlier and thanks to lag I bought a Broken Goblin Longsword for 500k /scream!!!

    Seriously, the default option to buy rediculously overpriced items is YES but the default option to leave the airship landing area or return from a chocobo escort is NO?? Common sense, <can I have it>?

    I know you can buy direct from the item search feature but its really time consuming to buy say 10 belts for an SB party. At the least, can we have some kind of extra confirmation menu when buying really expensive items that is defaulted to no? Please SE, this isnt the first time this has happened to me and many others too ; ;

    That's always struck me as really weird, how illogical the yes/no choices are in some places. "Do you wish to exit the airship landing?" "Naaaaah, man. I just wanna hang out here for a bit--that cool with you?" It's not like you can do anything there.

    But I don't see why an extra confirmation screen for items above 300-500k would be an issue. This would only affect people who put items on their retainers to keep them in the ward, and items with lots of melds. I can deal with "Are you certain you wish the Wand of Tides +3 for 610,000 gil?" once a week when I buy a new piece of gear. Likewise, a confirmation screen for repairs wouldn't be horrible--"Are you certain you wish to offer a reward 600,000 gil for repairs to your Weathered Dalmatica?" I doubt it would be the end of the world for coders, either. Whether it be a set amount based on the items level (1-20, >100k; 20-40, >300k; 40-50, >500k, etc.), a set amount across the entire ward, or simply an item that vastly exceeds the average from price history.

    I don't think an extra confirmation screen would cause as many headaches as it would prevent. Not to mention, retainers make the sale completely anonymous, so you can't even ask for it back.
