Free company housing transfer question

I purchased a large plot and was wondering how to transfer my house to my free company.

Is there a way to do this?

There is no way to change a personal house to a fc house. If your fc already has a house you can transfer your current house to another empty plot and then IMMEDIATELY transfer your fc house to your old plot. If your fc doesn't already own a house buy a small and then do the transfer once your plot is empty, otherwise you'll have to be insanely lucky to have someone around when the timer on the plot allows a straight purchase.

The only option you have is to relinquish the Large plot and then relocate your current Free Company estate to the freshly relinquished plot.


Why didn't you relocate to it in the first place? because you just wasted 40m+ unless you keep it as a Private estate.

No, he's still have to essentially pay full price. His current FC house a small in shirogane and the discount you get is 30% of the minimum value of the current house. He will save somewhere between 446k on a 40 mill to 558k on a 50 mill depending on his server. He isn't going to have time to wait for the housing value to depreciate if he wants to make sure he keeps his large and make sure someone else doesn't come along and transfer. The discount is so small on a mansion amount it's essentially full price.

This is the best post in regards to this manner. housecat here is just trying to stir up trouble. You do pay a lot of extra gil by trying to convert the house though, like what Thamorian was trying to explain.
