Make it happen.
All I can say is bye-bye Besaid and your RP. I say we band together now and make an "unofficial RP gtfo server".New update on the main page.

Account deactivated. Holding out for Guild Wars 2.
We wont miss you dont worry
On another note, Its interesting they are letting EVERYONE choose the new server they want to go to, and how they are doing it in general
this will be a very important month for people to be susbscribed during, lest they get tossed to a random server when they return to the game

Well...won't we be transferred again to New Servers come v 2.0 and I presume the population restrictions will be lifted then so missing friends and LS members still may have a chance to find you.
Remember that this merger is just to increase populations for current subscribers in order to make partying easier, improve the Markets/Economies and presumably create a fuller gaming experience for paying customers.
Papa was a rolling stone...wherever he laid his barbut was home.
It's really difficult to get low level parties together because everyone's with their friends at L50. I'm not setting myself up for disappointment (since it might not exactly fix that issue) but I'm excited for the possibility of seeing a more lively, lower level community.Well...won't we be transferred again to New Servers come v 2.0 and I presume the population restrictions will be lifted then so missing friends and LS members still may have a chance to find you.

Hmmm...you got me thinking (dangerous I know). Maybe we the community could categorize the Worlds before we transfer, ie.It's really difficult to get low level parties together because everyone's with their friends at L50. #1-3 Worlds are for peeps with maxed out 50's on everything.
#4-6 Worlds are for peeps with multiple 1's/Low Levels.
#7 World is for Role Players.
#8 is for Solo Players and RMT. ;>P
#9 World is Limbo for all the peeps who didn't choose in time.
#10 is the Unofficial Non-English Speaking Server.
I would choose #5 myself (I still have plenty of Low Levels) if anyone cares to join me or wants to avoid me.

You sir, are a voice of reason, and will be ignored for that.Well...won't we be transferred again to New Servers come v 2.0 and I presume the population restrictions will be lifted then so missing friends and LS members still may have a chance to find you.

However; I am not trying to troll you. In fact I think I love you.
Mandatory reminder.Well...won't we be transferred again to New Servers come v 2.0 and I presume the population restrictions will be lifted then so missing friends and LS members still may have a chance to find you.

>_>
Of what?
None of that has anything to do with why they hide server names, and make inactive players go to a random server.
Merge servers: problem solved.
Pretty simple, they are just doing it wrong. Not the first time they have bumbled the solution to a very simple problem.
