Which apartment is closest to the Garleans

I’m kinda new, and kinda (ok a lot) obsessed with the garleans...so let’s say I wanted to buy an apartment in a place where they’re nearby, which would that probably be? And may the empire’s reign be long.

I think, according to the Stormblood storyline, the housing ward in Gridania would be physically the closest to a Garlean base. I may be missing one closer, but I can't think of another off the top of my head.

Gridania would be a good choice, so would Shirogane (the housing ward in Stormblood - so you'd have to reach that part of the story first), considering how they have at least a Garlean embassy in Kugane.

Technically, I recall each of the Eorzean city-states having some form of Garlean presence by at its borders. Gridania, of course, has Baelsar's Wall, Limsa has a castrum near one of the port towns (can't remember which, but this is where we initially go to start the Coils raids), and then Thanalan has Castrum Meridianum and Cape Westwind at either end. There's also the Castrum in the Mor Dhona region as well, but it's not entirely relevant in this case. Shirogane is probably the most suited for Garlean residents though, due to the neutrality of the Kugane embassy.
