Monsters That Creep You Out in FFXIV

Mostly none of the monsters in this game creep me out since the vast majority of them aren't threats. I would say Malboros but then again they are ugly in every FF game. Even a common monster like the Goblins in FFXI freaked me out cause they ARE a threat and can and will try and kill you if you low leveled and they will also stalk/chase you a long distance before finally giving up.



FFXIV has alot to learn.

Those giraffe things. Like all they do to attack you is swing their necks at you. *shudders*

Moogles.

Their absurdly huge heads relative to the rest of their bodies remind me of infants with thalidomide-induced phocomelia (may not want to google that). Their cartoony designs feel as though they ought not to have made the transition to 3D.

That said. It's only the moogles in XIV that give me that feeling. The ones in, say, FFXII, feel more natural to me.

I hope they never make a Gigantoad mount. I don't think I would ever use it if they did.

The Namazu... those untrustworthy, annoying, slimy, sly, squeaky, Namazu.

I do not like them... never will. I did chuckle at their dialogue during the beastman tribe quests... but they still creep me out and will ever remain on my /blist.

I wonder if anything from Shadowbringers made this list. I don't recall anything from ShB being particularly spooky until the final dungeon's enemies.
