Ifrit (Drop rates and lag)

I'm sure this is a common issue but I've put a lot of time and effort into the Ifrit fight.

As of now, I'm 0/24 on weapons with 4 totems. A LS mate is 0/66 with 2 totems.

I was on at least 0/70 when I got my first weapon (didn't get a single totem). It also happened to be the one I wanted most, Ifrit's Bow.

And yet, someone in my LS got the Ifrit's Cudgel, the item he wanted, on his first kill. It really is down to luck. But I do agree that the drop rate could be fixed a bit more. I swear that people with the weapons already seem to get them at a much higher rate.
