Fix the audio switch please. Since beta ARR it's almost 5 years.

I hate to relog every time whenever I want to switch from headset to PC speakers....

I second this. Although I do not suffer from this issue, my boyfriend has to constantly log out and restart his client whenever he needs to do the same. I wonder how difficult it would be for the team to get together and provide a solution?

I would have been driven crazy years ago if my speakers didn't have a headphone jack. It's such a silly problem for a game to have, especially one that is 4+ years into it's lifecycle and is getting reliable QOL updates in other areas. 2nd biggest MMO on the market by a large margin and you can't switch your audio source while it's running... great stuff.

Sometimes I accidentally snag headphone cable when I move and lose the audio. Boom, game throws up a list of error codes and crashes. Would love for the game to not be locked to one audio source after launching and crash the whole game if it loses that source.

Yeah... I'd love to see this happen. It's incredibly annoying that I need to reboot the game if I want to switch the audio output.

I wish.
I remember back during the beta, perhaps close to launch, they said they were working with Microsoft on the issue.
Then no word ever again.

This would be so nice to have fixed. Right now everyone lives with it because it's certainly not a critical gameplay issue, but by The Twelve it must be the biggest QoL issue I can think of.
