I was asking in-game if there was a cure for silence, my friend plays a cnj and is getting torn apart by slugs in a cave that silence her. So we were wondering if there is anyway to cure silence or prevent it. When I asked a few people they said nope just time cures it ala-waiting.......

Is this seriously true? I can't believe there would be no counter to this spell. Please somebody shed light on the subject.

At present, the only quick option to remove silence is to use an item called Throat Drops, which can be purchased with gil, Company seals, or crafted by an alchemist.

When Jobs are implemented, there is an ability slated to remove such enfeebling effects from us.

Silence Resist materia may also contribute to preventing the Silence effect.

But until next patch... mwee hee hee!

Thank you do much for taking the time to reply. Your help was awesome. I was able to find some throat drops! Now We can go back into the caves and kick some slug butt! Lol


Serious tho I am fast becoming so addicted to this game. After swtor and sto. This is the game I was looking for, complex and thick depth.
