    Interesting New Way to Increase Activity in the Pre-Season

    Don't know if you all saw this, but it looks like based on your pre-season rank, you'll be able to start Season 8 at a higher level:

    Hopefully this breathes some life into pre-season... at least for a couple of weeks anyway...

    Also says your ranks and and ratings carry over so no need for high level players to even play in the pre-season. (Unless I misunderstood it)

    Hmmm, they should make it so that your rank and ratings carry over indefinitely from season to season so you don't have to play at all.

    This can go either way.

    On the one hand low rank players won't get turned off after getting stomped over and over by high rank players. I'm also happy I'll be able to avoid the low ranks completely.

    On the other hand....do we even have enough low rank players to populate those ranks? Posts like this one will only serve to scare people away from even trying, and the general attitude of most players is to tell anyone that asks about PVP that they should just stay away.

    I'm taking a wait and see approach to this one.
