    I like see bst master I just don't want it to be tank personaly I lifke have have whip and be dps

    I like see Puppetmaster be more tank pet job class I would also like move away for ffxi for concept. it been done with puppetmaster it be easy build a concept a migration tank. transfer damage to puppetmaster, with beastmaster have fill role of dps, and have ability tame pets limit the roles and family.

    small size pet like squirrel and monkey
    dps

    medium to large such as tiger, drake melee dps
    big cats

    large extra large tank family.
    tricetops and gorrillas and t-rex and mammoth

    with puppetmaster the weapons could puppet control stick migrate damage to mammets

    I still think blue mage would make fine tank be aim avoidance damage

    I want to point out, that the idea is not a pet class tank, but a tank with the flavor of a pet class.

    There are no pet actions, but actions that are acted out by the 'pet'. It's no different from a Paladin's Sword or a Warrior's Ax. The stances are just your standard defense or offense, just signaled by the 'pet' either standing in front or to the side of the character.

    It is your auto-attack, it performs the actions you press as if it was your weapon on a different tank. It does not act on it's own, it does not need seperate actions to do things.

    The 'pet' is your tank weapon, not an actual Pet with Pet AI.

    You just equip a whip as your 'Main Weapon' and any movement that the whip does is just flair, as if the movements are controlling the 'pet' and other 'pets' that are global skills.


    BST/TRN that I suggest, once again, is not a pet tank, but a tank with a pet flair.

    I don't think the pet tank will work

    the goal is have weapon is so you switch to that weapon. I like to move away ffxi concept ffxiv need stand on it own. in ffxi the beast master is tank job let move toward make it dps jobs

    If they want to improve pet ai then I'm all for it but I'm not gunna be sour grapes if they don't because I'm not sure they can at this point. This job idea simply just gives us the flavor of bst in ff14 without the clunkiness of the current pet ai.

    That's easier said than done, if they haven't fixed pet ai clunkiness by now there must be some sort of issue that is preventing them from doing so.

    In FF3 or FF5 (not sure which), BST and BLU had some sort of synergy where taming/controlling a monster helped draining Blue Magic from a said creature. I also believe Yoshi described that he imagines BLU being a monster expert. With all that being said I can see a BST/BLU whip wielding pet tank being a possibility.
