Revisiting the damage meta (Healer aspect)

The introduction of Stone Sea and Sky training dummies were a great way to check if players met the damage checks for the fight. However there is no system in place that measures if healers are capable of healing the damage taken in a party setting.
Would it be possible to create a healer training dummy of sorts in SSS so that healers can check their heals per second by healing an npc that loses health at rates in accordance to the raid level at hand? 7 other healing dummies would also create a more realistic training course. Either have DOTs and sudden health spikes that healers have to adjust during the 3 minute timer like in a normal training dummy.

These kind of changes would help start curbing the damage meta and help create check marks for people to realize that you cannot just dps as a healer to succeed in content. This has been seen even in dungeons which is outside of a raid setting.
    Thank you for your time.

While it may be a fun addition it isn't going to change anything. The fact is that there is no situation inside or outside of savage which requires you to heal constantly. when there is no healing needed to be done it is more beneficial to a group for a healer to dps, and the more familiar a fight is the less actual healing needs to be done. I have no issues with a healer that isn't comfortable dpsing in a new environment, but if you gave anyone a choice of a healer that not only keeps the party up but contributes to damage instead of standing there and one that doesn't they will take the 1st one every time.
