We bought a plot by mistake

Hi, we are a couple and we identified a plot we wanted in the Goblet.
To ensure maximum chance of getting it, we both logged out in front of the said plot in different wards. But my bf logged out in front of the wrong plot and bought it ASAP when he logged on.
Seeing his mistake I panicked and bought the house on the right plot. Not being use to the system we forgot it was possible to move the house, so we did.

Now we have 2 houses on the same plot/ different ward.

But we only need one.

Beside me waiting 45 days for the house to be destroyed, is there any way to just remove my name from the plot so someone else can get it? I don't care about the gils at all.

You can just relinquish the land - that will put a random timer on it in regards when it gets put up for sale again, but it will be put up for sale again within the next hours/days.
You wont get any gil back this way, but the plot will go back to the game, so to speak.

Alright I found how to relinquish. Gladly someone was able to buy it right after

Mistakes happen. OP actually relinquished the second house because they didn’t need it rather than hang on to it. I’d be giving him props, personally.
