Fresh level 60 crafter. Looking for help.

I recently got all my crafts and gathers up to 60. Now I\\'m preping for the 60-70 grind. I have been doing the \\'hasty touch\\' method with hit and miss results. I just don\\'t have the cp for the methods i\\'ve read about (mine is currently 280 mix of 50-60 unmelded acc. ). What is a good method to use? Should I wait and upgrade all my gear at 61-62? or fully meld my 60 gear (170-150ilevel).

Camie has written a great guide, she has covered everything that you are needed in great detail. when you hit 70 you hardly ever use hasty anymore. There are also videos that Ashe done on youtube that takes the journey from level 1 to 70.

    (1) I would highly recommend you to do IN-SLOT melds on all your gear and accessories with Cunning IV (CP+4) materia (assuming they're not maxed with CP yet). Why? Because you lose nothing. All Tier IV materia can be retrieved at 100% rate anyway. So you can remove all the melded materia, and transfer them to your new gear every time when you acquire new gear. This will highly boost your CP at zero cost. For the gear that has maxed CP already, you can boost craftsmanship or control. It's up to you. Where can you get such a large amount of Tier IV materia? Weekly Custom Delivery with Zhloe at Idyllshire. It gives you plenty of red scrips, which you can exchange into many many Tier IV materia at the Scrip Exchange.

Assuming you add 2 Cunning IV on your chest, 2 on your gloves, 2 on your hat (and i'm not even including pants and shoes here), 1 on your mainhand, 1 on your offhand, 1 on your earrings, 1 on choker, 1 on bracelet, 1 on each of the two rings. That's 12x4 = 48 extra CP.

    (2) I would also recommend you to craft yourself a whole stack of HQ Baked Onion Soup. Each will give you 48 extra CP. The mats are cheap anyway... in fact, FREE, assuming you have level 60 gatherers. Use the soup at will.

With (1) and (2), you should get at least 96 more CP at nearly no cost. Your CP problem should be resolved.

OP, I checked your character on lodestone. Since your gatherers are not levelled up. Making your own Baked Onion soup could easily be more expensive than purchasing NQ Tempura Platter from Kugane for 2186 each. This provides 43 CP.

I would recommend just progressively upgrading your gear, as lv61 Kudzu stuff is nearly equivalent to the Ironworks gear. And, the stats only go up from there.

I got the ilvl 200 accessories for a pittance of red scrip in idyllshire. They lasted me until 70 (which I've gotten with custom delivery, class quests, challenge log bonus, and a repeatable leves.

But the 200 accessories have more CP than anything you'll make while levelling in Stormblood and only get outclassed by the zelkova set.
