Housing Suggestions

Obviously, housing has a long way to go before it is closer to being fixed, although I think giving Free Companies a chance to get something was a good start. Here are some suggestions that might help.

1. Make the 'features' the same for everyone. So same number of gardens, retainers, crafting stations and vendors.

2. Your alts should automatically be considered a tenant without it reducing the number of tenants you can set per house.

3. Allow you to determine whether other people (tenant or anyone) can use your vendors or crafting stations.

4. Make it so you can increase the size of properties. Maintain the layout of doors and stairs so each house feels different still. Need a 'lore reason' to do this...maybe tech similar to the workshop crafting station allowing a larger space to exist...basically giving everyone a TARDIS
A. Apartment from 1 cottage size room, to a medium or large size (still one floor).
B. Cottage increase main floor to medium or large, basement stays the same
C. Medium increase main and second floor to large, basement stays the same
D. Ultimate Upgrade - Mansion sized interior/layout -- I would be fine with just the first 3 upgrade suggestions...but people will want this and still complain that they can't upgrade the exterior.
E. As resources allow, also add a gate which lead to a 'private house' ... this can be a way to cram instanced housing into the neighborhoods. Can buy either a small medium or large.

5. Add apartment planters similar to gardens. Alternatively, consider adding instanced a balcony for apartments.

6. In the apartment lobby, set one door for apartments and the other for "Guild Halls". This is basically apartments for FC's ... HOWEVER you should make it so that it counts against your house cost. So you can own one personal house and one FC house OR "Guild Hall" (to prevent people from taking them just to be greedy.
