Any idea about the requiement on Surv. for the DoL/DoH materia VIs in Rimilala Trench Bottom? Will 130 be enough?

This thread is sooo long but i saw that CWCC can help get the otter minion? is this still true?
Stats:
Surve: 175
Retr: 40
Speed: 50
Range: 110
Favor: 90
My records have the following builds as confirmed able to find abroader otters: (S= Shark, Y=Syldra)
CCYC
CYYY
CYYC
CUSC
CUUC
CWSC
CCCC
UUUC
CWCC
CYCY
The one thing about your build is that you will only get one shot at an otter per trip. If you bump your Favor stat to 105 you have two chances per trip.
Thank you for your answer. It seems easy enough to build (I can't get Kamacite Ore yet, so no Syldra parts yet).
But I've read that you need 145 surveillance to get the otter minion. I don't absolutely need to be able to get it, especially if it's the only item you need so high surveillance for. I searched the thread and multiple sources say 130 is not enough to get it though, but Kamacite can drop if you have only 120 surveillance (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...20#post4897693).
Has anyone gotten the minion with 130 surveillance?
And does anyone know what surveillance you need to get the blue and green crystal boules? I wanted them for a long time now but they are really expensive on the market board.
Is there also minimum surveillance you need for "normal" items, instead of Kamacite Ore and the otter? Or does it not matter for normal items?
how do i get to deep sea site 7? i went and used the CWSC build now, and sent to central rimilala trench since it says thats how its unlocked, is there any requirements to unlocking DSS7?or is just rng?My records have the following builds as confirmed able to find abroader otters: (S= Shark, Y=Syldra)

RNG. There's strong evidence that higher Surveillance leads to better odds of unlocking new sectors, but it's hard to thoroughly test it since it's not something that can be repeatedly tested by us since it... you know... unlocks.
Just keep at it. It'll unlock eventually.
I got plenty of green boules with a CUYC sub (Surv 155) at Sunken Vault. Only ever got one blue one though, it seems to be a lot rarer than the green.
For the blue/green crystal boules, it appears that 155 is the minimum surveillance to add them to the loot table. As AuricSeagard mentioned he's gotten plenty with CUYC, and in my experience I get plenty of purple but NO green/blue from CCYC (150 surv).
Thank you both. FINALLY some numbers that are really helpful. ^^
Everyone is like "get 145 surveillance for that stupid otter" when asking what surveillance you need for various rare items. So I take days to gather stuff and then hours to craft everything only to get a ship that can get like extremely high surveillance but doesn't have enough range to get to Sunken Vault because that damn otter only needs like 40 or whatever. And if it gets enough range then favor is too low. Whatever. More crafting then. It's just so annoying that everyone seems only to think in otters and kamacite when it comes to submersibles.
I'll just have to make all parts except for Syldra parts and hope I can get enough. Currently I have all Shark and Unkiu parts, 3 Coelacanth (no stern), 2 whale (bow and that usless hull I made for leveling faster). I need so much more Darksteel Ore again...
