Primal Data Center RP server

I'm (slowly) managing to convince a long time friend to come away from WoW and to FFXIV. However, she's a big time RPer, and my home server of Exodus isn't very RP heavy.

Trying to meet her halfway, I'm looking for a RP server in the Primal data center so that we can at least do instanced stuff (and perhaps open world stuff if they ever manage to implement it). Anyone have any suggestions for a good one?

Edit: Oh, and also what is the character limit per server? I've only ever played with my 1 character.

I'm not sure about Primal but the max characters you can have per server is eight.

Depends on your sub. Entry is 1 character per world with up to 8 characters

Other one (That you can pay 1/3/6 months at a time) is up to 8 character per world with a total of 40 characters. Something like that.

There isn't really a RP server on Primal from what I have heard, they are all in Aether data center Balmung/Mateus being big ones and Gilgamesh to a lesser extent.

You might be able to find a rp linkshell/fc on primal server but will probably require abit of searching

Most RPers have congregated on the Aether datacenter as said above, but there are groups on Behemoth, Famfrit, and Lamia who are active, I think.

In terms of population, Balmung > Mateus > Gilgamesh / Jenova (afaik, most RPers on Gilgamesh left for Balmung years ago when more raiders started to transfer in. I've seen more Jenova activity than Gilgamesh, but this could just mean they're not using the same resources as me).

Hyperion has a pretty good RP community, though they tend to lean more on the erp side than the norm I think.
