はい、新生では5x5のバッグが複数用意され、どのバッグにアイテムを入れるかを自由に振り分けることができます。
さらに、その5x5のバッグ内では、種別ごとにソートすることはもちろん、自由にアイテムの位置を入れ替えることができるようになる予定です。
Yes, the plan for 2.0 there are several 5x5 bags and you can freely distribute the item to any bag on top of that within the 5x5 bag you can sort by type, or move the item to any position within the bag as well.

Hoping that there will be a choice between 'Icon View' and 'List View'.

I prefer 'List View' but i admit it needs optimised further.

Maybe i could get used to 'Icon View' but then we get into the realm of the above picture, which is a backwards step, imo.

i agree they should have a list option for the controller users

It's not a backward, it's different.
I personally find list inventory really boring since I'm a visual person.
I'm really happy they are adding bags in 2.0 UI! Yay!!

Also, being able to drag and drop stuff and organize it to my liking will be much more useful than inventory list sort feature.
Scrolling through a hundred line of text to find the items I'm looking for, that's... well, not practical for me.

Anyway, if they add list view and icon view, I'm definitely picking icon view with bags! Whoo!!

Even though this was confirmed last year, hopefully there is a list view available.
