Free Fantasia?

Sooo I bought a Main Scenario Progression (A Realm Reborn) from the Mog Station. I saw people saying that you can get a Free Fantasia after completing The Praetorium However I did not have it in my inventory after opening the MSP. Do I still have to complete The Praetorium to get it or can I not get it at all?

The quest rewards changed it seems and it is no longer given

Seems it's now a reward for completing The Ultimate Weapon quest.

Does this Fantasia allow you to change your character name was well?

fantasia only allow you to change your character, names are changed separately on the mog station.

The free Fantasia potion used to be part of the Veteran Rewards that you would get after being subscribed for a certain amount of time.
The Veteran Rewards system was changed with Patch 4.1, and now you instead get a free Fantasia potion after finishing the quest The Ultimate Weapon.

The few people who had already finished that quest before the change went live, but had not yet qualified for obtaining it via Veteran Rewards, those would unfortunately fall between the cracks and not get a free Fantasia potion.

Thank you for your responses it does seem like I did not qualify for the potion after completing the quests after it was changed.

Bumping this thread, I got my fantasia under the old Veteran Rewards scheme before they changed it, and received the fantasia on that character. I've since started an alt, bought the MSQ skip potion and the job level potion and haven't received a fantasia. Is the fantasia reward only for a single character or something?

I would venture a guess that it's still per character, got moved from veteran rewards to the main scenario quest (so you no longer get it as soon as you create the character due to veteran status), and is not rewarded by skipping the main scenario quest but only by actually completing it yourself. Beyond that, of course, it's always a good idea to verify your mailbox isn't full and that you're able to receive new items.
