My Chestpiece keeps glowing white

I recently aquired the blacksmith yellow script chestpiece but problem is that it glows white I've tried restarting the game, updating my drivers, restarting my pc, going into a duty, I've even tried dying it one color then back.

Hmmm error on pic :/ By glows white do you mean blurry compare to surroundings?

Not exactly blurry is like soft white glow on the apron part of the chestpiece

That is very bizarre. Maybe you should fill in the "official form" found in the Tech Forum because it could be something very specific to your character combination that needs to be corrected to prevent further issues.

Hello ShiftingSand, Thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Seems the things you have tried have no effect on the issue, try turning off Direct X 11 mode and see if this adds any more stability to the game. Also, disable any programs in the background while you are playing the game (again, even if your computer should be able to handle it).

I have tried running it with direct x 9 and running without any other programs on and the issue persists.
I have also tried throwing the piece of armor away and aquiring a new one but the issue is still there.

Steps:I acquired the chest piece from the script vendor, then went to my grand company [The Immortal Flames] to aquire a glamour crystal and when I glamoured the chest piece to my equipped piece I noticed that it was glowing white on the apron part of the chest piece.

What are you glamouring it onto? I wonder if it's a dye specific issue. Have you tried to glamour it on something else, like a lvl1 glam item that anything can wear? Obviously only your BSM could wear the actual Forgeking Apron but it may show a glow problem on the other item. Just some ideas.
