    Regarding UI Settings and Display Issues (Oct. 27)

    We greatly apologize for the inconvenience caused by the UI settings and display issues after Patch 4.11.

    We had reported on the situation in “Known Issue After Patch 4.11 (Oct. 25): Follow-up” notice. While conducting investigation and fixes, we have confirmed further issues related to UI settings and display.

    After the follow-up notice, we have received reports of cases that did not match the situations described in the notice, as well as cases where issues were occurring multiple times. Unfortunately, these cases may be the result of different issues than the ones previously listed, and we are unable to provide confirmation at this time. We greatly apologize for this inconvenience.

    We are currently prioritizing investigation, and have determined a possible cause from the reports from our players. We are confirming whether this cause is responsible for all current issues, and cautiously proceeding with addressing this issue.

    As addressing all related issues may take some time, in an effort to minimize further cases, we are prioritizing to address those for which the cause is clear and have the greatest effects. We ask that you wait a while longer for these issues to be resolved.

    Regarding UI Settings and Display Issues (Oct. 27): Follow-up

    We would like to report on the current conditions regarding the UI settings and display issues occurring after Patch 4.11.

    We have confirmed two main patterns in these issues: one where certain client side settings are not saved after making changes, and another where all settings would be lost upon trying to save settings.

    The issue where “all settings would be lost upon trying to save settings” was occurring as a result of corrupted settings data being loaded upon the next login, and would restore all settings to default. The cause of this issue has been confirmed and was addressed in the Hotfixes on Oct. 31, 2017 7:15 p.m. (PDT).

    *Even if you are unaffected by UI settings and display issues at this time, there is a possibility that the issue may occur before it is addressed. In order to prevent further cases and apply the safest method, we ask that you open the HUD Layout settings as early as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience this may be.

    *As we mentioned in previous reports, if you have already been affected by the issue, we are unable to restore these settings as they are stored client side. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask that you restore these settings manually.

    Regarding the issue where specific settings are not saved, we are continuing to investigate for potential causes. We believe this issue only occurs under specific circumstances, and will require more time for further investigation.

    We are prioritizing addressing these issues, and we continue to ask for your patience as we resolve the root of the problem.

    Once again, we would like to deeply apologize for the inconvenience this has been causing our players.
