...better be titled "Housing Reborn", along with fully revamped instanced housing, one purchase per account, and in-game maintenance monthly fees.
If there is a cinematic cutscene involving a meteor, that will be even better.

Leave the smalls with a low maintenance. Mediums and Larges should be FC only, and 500k/1m per month at least.
Not everyone make a mil a month. Plus small not good enough if they doing instance there should be option to build on and make bigger. As for storyline omega world give perfect plot to instance housing.
If housing was instanced, why would you need monthly fees on top of that?
If you can afford to own a mansion, your FC can afford to pay 1M a month to keep it. Mediums should only be 500k, still doable spread out among a dozen or 20 people. Solo FC? Too bad. Pay up.
Your logic and counterpoint are astounding.
Are people really hanging around their houses all the time, inviting friends, havin a tea party? cause i really don't understand why this topic needs so much attention. our fc has a medium house from back when it was introduced but all it does for me is a quick way to a summoning bell/market board without the traffic (and gil seller spam) of the main cities.
I even have a private room, but i don't even know why.
