Gold Saucer suggestions

Hallo,

I've been playing in the Gold Saucer ever since it appeared in 2.5 and since we're getting close to 4.1 I would love to see new stuff. It's been ages since they add anything new like mounts, minions or emotes. Let me spend my 5 million MGP please, cause I got everything already.

Now my suggestion would be to put more rewards and items in the gold saucer, plus more mini-games like: blackjack or slotmachines (give me a reason to blow my MGP away) or more GATE's like a maze that is randomized. Jumping puzzles on structures or leafs in water where you can't jump in the water. And maybe some of the amazing fps mini-game that Stormblood made us do in the MS and during the Moonfire Faire event.

I would love to see alot of new stuff in the Gold Saucer and make me spent my MGP.

Id like to see classic casino games with an FF twist. Like blackjack, poker and roulette. As well as slot machines.

Your idea of a jumping puzzle with water reminds me of Takeshi's castle lol.

pretty sure they said they weren't going to add anything new. maybe the snowboarding mini-game from VII i think was mentioned in a jp interview.

Is it just me or did they mention in an interview ages ago that they were planning on implementing some sort of flight based game where you had to guide a mount through floating rings? I don't think I've heard anything about it since.

yeah that was mentioned too. the guy who was supposed to be in charge of that was moved to something else in the game. no one is working on anything like that atm.

They need to give us a long term reward mount like they gave to the tanks and the hunts.

I agree they need to add a large dose of new items to spend mgp on.

I don't have everything but that's because most of the gear is fugly as heck lol

I'm not a huge mount collector in here , unlike WOW, but loved Fenrir so I did get him, the others I have zero interest in.

Owning one of everything would never be a goal of mine, I have to like what I own, but the lack of anything new is disheartening and sad.

Random events that give good rewards (glamour, mounts, emotes etc), it starts at the Golden Saucer and lets the player do tasks in the Saucer and outside of it. Stuff like a murder mystery, hide and seek etc. Each player has a different answer, so people can not get spoiled.

They might make some solo and others where you need to group up. The Golden Saucer needs something fresh, new and not pointless.

A few items id like to see as GS rewards would be a Gold Chocobo mount, senior sabotender minion... how about a senior sabotender inspired outfit with tophat and star monocle....

Experience points tickets (purchasable with MGP)
- Small size (for LV40 minimum)
- Medium size (for LV50 minimum)
- Large size (for LV60 minimum)

Experience points proportional to the ticket and a maximum number of tickets per week.
This could be a new and different way to do some experience points, a way to spend MGP and a reason to enjoy more in the Gold Saucer.


I would also like to see some new chocobo roads (The Azim Steppe should be appropiate for it!) and gold saucer activities included in some quest.
