1. While we are in the same zone or difference zone when Crystal rainbow was in The Azim Steppe The Eternity Ring would keep saying you where unable to leave the area. Even when in the same zone. just using it to bring us together..
2. Crystal Rainbow who has finish the story line is able to ring to me.

You need to have the whole map mapped out before you can ring into it.

As I recall... You have to have flying unlocked in a zone for it to work. Overlaps with having the zone mapped, though.

Also it will not work if you are trying to use the Eternity Ring to teleport to your partner when they are currently in an instanced area (in other words, inside a Free Company house/private house/private chamber/apartment or one of the Stormblood zone instances, although I do not think that is the issue here as I thought Azzim Steppe was not instanced).

So I concur that you need to unlock flying in that zone to teleport there/complete the map in order to use the Eternity Ring to tele there I'm afraid.
