Make it something like a procession of moogles are marching across the play area and you've got X time limit to shoot down as many as you can.

timed target shooting, large targets worth less points, smaller/faster targets worth more. End of time score ranges get different payouts.

someone asked if there was going to be more of this type of content, and SE said unlikely to be implemented in battle, this was implemented to shake up types of quests. However.. if enough people show interest in this maybe they'll make it a priority to implement in future gold saucer events.
