As of 6pm GMT im starting to get the 90002 Error on another of my chars Xelrath Solarwing at least 4 times so far in various places and cannot also access Solar Reaper same thing still is happening.
SO ANY DEVS looking at this?
Holy hell this is new i just got a 2002 error at 8:35pm GMT........
its now 2:05am GMT Still same problem with Solar Reaper being stuck to quarrymill. Still no answer from the dev team, nearly 21hrs of not being able to play this char need answers the same as other ppl who have same problem.
So 29hrs down the line still same problem with Solar Reaper being stuck in quarrymill with the 90002 error, NO response from dev team on what is happening No proper solutions and so forth, if this was a f2p game i would have long gone by now but considering this is a PAID product with PAID subscriptiuon i would have thought there would have been better Response times. But alas no there isnt it takes the biscuit.
11:30am GMT
Might be a last edit for time being but if problem persists after this little fix or dont then it sstill needs addressing.
Well i contacted support via chat and explained the problem there, said the devs are working on itor investigating it, then he sent a email after the chat on tips that could solve temporary. Now the first bit was to plug in a wired connection via router, i did this i can now move my "bugged" char from quarrymill with no problems atm.
So see if this works for you other ppl by trying to connect your pc/ps4 to a wired connection via router if that works then something is attacking ppl via the wireless ports maybe.....
Its 7:10am GMT and connecting to the router to the pc through wired connection seemed to have held the 90002 error back for now but im hoping this isnt the long term fix.
As for people saying its trying to get players to go back to their own data centers its not that considering IT IS happening to other people on other data centers too so it isnt just NA.
I'll put here what chat support sent me yesterday and see if it helps other players.
The first thing to do would be to try connecting your console to your router directly using a wired cable if you are using wireless internet and then ensuring that the correct ports have been forwarded on your router. You can find out more about forwarding ports on the site http://portforward.com/english/appli...l_Fantasy_XIV/ you should be able to follow the instructions on that site to forward the correct ports FINAL FANTASY XIV: Online needs and you will not download any additional software from that site as it is not necessary.
If that does not help we would recommend making some adjustments to your network settings by following the instructions below :
-Start PlayStation 4
-Go to settings
-Go to network
-Select setup internet connection
-Select Use a LAN cable (or wi-fi if that?s what you are using)
-Select Custom (there?s several pages to go through here. For settings other than MTU and DNS servers, if there are specific settings your networkconnection has to use, feel free to set them up rather than using automatic settings)
-IP Address (set to automatic)
-DHCP host name (set to ?Do Not Specify?)
-DNS Settings (set to Manual)
-Primary: 8.8.8.8
-Secondary: 8.8.4.4
-MTU Settings (set to Manual)
-At default this would be 1500. Try setting it to 1470. You can experiment with this setting a little bit, but we would not recommend you go below 1400.
-Proxy (set to ?Do Not Use?)
-Now test the connection
You can also try changing the UPnP settings in FFXIV.cfg. To do so, please follow these steps:
- Access: Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn
- Open FFXIV.cfg in NotePad
- Find <Network Settings>
- Change UPnP 1 to UPnP 0
