    Lobby error 2002 and stuck character

    Hello,

    Last night I was in sunken temple of Qarn and randomly crashed. I didn't think much of it until I tried logging back in. Stated there was a lobby error code 2002. Alright, that's fine, that happened not too long ago with all the DDOSing and crashing. I gave it an hour or so, tried logging back in again, same thing immediately, won't go past clicking start on the main Stormblood screen. I tried it periodically throughout the night to no avail. I tried rebooting my computer, rebooting my modem, tried both the Directx11 and DirectX9 version. I reset the launcher to factory settings and checked the forums. The forums didn't have a bunch of people complaining so I would assume something went wrong when I disconnected. This morning, I noticed that my access code for stormblood [not the early release] wasn't there. So I added that thinking that may the problem and tried again. Still lobby 2002 error.

    The more concerning thing now is that the character shows online and in Sunken Temple of Qarn still. The character with the issue is Raya Mephiles on Midgardsomr. I did submit a ticket today, might have accidentally did a second but I didn't get the number [that one had all the program file info]. The one I got the number of is the following

    Ticket number: 7230972, 7226378

    Character info:
    Name: Raya Mephiles
    Data Center: Aether
    Server: Midgardsmor
    Stuck in: Sunken Temple of Qarn
    Class at the time: White mage


    Since so many support agents seem to think I'm lieing, here is proof that my character is STILL stuck online in Sunken Temple of Qarn as of 6/27 taken by a friend who is also in my FC

    Update as of 6/25

    Ticket has gotten no response.
    Did some testing on my end since then.
    I can log into a character on the data center Primal under a character on Ultros. I can not access any of Aether. Clicking on data center Aether gives me the lobby error 2002 still. The character in question [Raya Mephiles- Midgardsomr/Aether] still shows it's online and in Sunken temple of Qarn. Would really appreciate some form of assistance...

    Same here I can play on any data center besides aether which is where my main is for past two days filed multiple times with no response eather seriously getting upset with SE for lack of feedback

    06/26/2017 1:05 AM- [Recovery]Recovery from Aether Data Center Content Server Technical Difficulties (Jun. 25)

    Did not fix issue with my character, it still shows online and I still have the lobby error of 2002. No response from the ticket/s placed.

    Please try these steps. Note, if you try step 2, you may lose the configuration settings such as hotbar setups. So, back them up first. The folder is located in the My Game which is in Documents.

    Steps:
    1. Reset all internet explorer settings. Open up IE and click on gear (or however you get to the settings in your version), then click on the advance tab, click to reset all the settings and click OK for the pop up window.

    2. If still problems, then log into the FF14 client. Do not click play though. Then click the settings and the option to reset all settings. (Note, I have not done this before, but others said they did. So, I may be wrong on where it is located.) Then try again.

    If still issues, then it is something SE has to deal with and I am sorry about that.

    Thank you for the reply! character still shows as logged in, tried resetting the FF14 settings, all internet explorer settings are reset. Will let me into every Data Center but Aether. Raya Mephiles is now "in another world" [According to my FC] but doesn't show the dungeon anymore.

    Yeah, then that is something SE will have to do to force your character our of the instance server so you can log in again.

    Thank you for trying <3 I am sitting on a character on another Data Center attempting to contact a GM. My tickets haven't been responded to and the chat shows unavailable even though their hours state they have 2 more hours. Tried the phone number, it's busy. Sooo I think this is my best option

    I am experiencing something similar, except with a stuck failed character transfer preventing me from logging in on any NA/EU data center.

    I'd suggest going to the support center here: https://support.na.square-enix.com/c...p?id=5382&la=1

    Choose your category as Accounts/ID, and pick subcategory as Login Issues. It will allow you to speak to someone on the phone with your ticket or the livechat.

    I tried both phone and livechat at the same time and the livechat answered much quicker. I have yet to get through on the phone due to the hours of hold times I've gone though and just eventually given up. Earlier today the livechat server apparently broke down though, so if it's says it's unavailable during business hours, just keep refreshing your ticket page.

    I haven't been able to log into any of my main characters for going on two entire days straight at this point though, so I'll be calling tomorrow and waiting on the hold until I get someone.

    I'd also suggest posting your issue as a bug report rather than just in the technical support section.
