Getting 90k'd while PVP'ing on a Congested World...

Yea... I'm done. I'm beginning to wonder if all of this 90k stuff is actually a DDOS Attack or if it's just Square Enix trying to force people off the Congested World servers because this is getting ridiculous. I'm running at 100 down and 50 up, I shouldn't be having these issues. And then once I get 90k'd after 10am Central, I'll be stuck in the 3k+ login queue. Sighs... Seriously SE like WTF?!

Ya, I've been getting DCed at times on Balmung as well. The big issue at present on the server is all the people afk, refusing to log out. I understand why people are doing it, but its making matters much worse.

At this point I'm open to transferring, but I don't know where to go that will have a good sized community once all the expansion congestion is over. The last thing I want to do is transfer to a server that will be dead in 3 months.

Yep, happened to me. Wasn't even any lag or sign of an incoming D/C, just instantly I got hit with a 90k.

Girlfriend was in que for 3 hours waiting to get in, when she was at about 200 in que from 3000, she got a lobby error.

Last week when they released that statement, it could've been Ddos for that one day, but this is just SE having poop tier servers

Same, it was yesterday I think. I got suddenly dc'd during Frontlines. When I checked my WTFast, there were no ping spikes, no packet loss, no nothing. It was just sudden slap in the face.

I get DC'd from PvP almost ALWAYS when I first log in to PvP, when I log back in I seem to be okay for a while.
Dc'd from the purple world instances 3 times now. [The quests purple mist things.]
Dc'd from touching an Aether Current in Azim Steppe. :/

I'm not transferring. I have a free company house and linkshells communities that I'm leading on there. Personally, I might be willing to transfer if it meant that I could transfer my free company with it, but at the same time... I rather be on a legacy server than one that isn't, but that's from personal preferences. If anything, I have an alt on Sargatanas that I play on and wait until login queue issue on the Balmung server dies down.

Honestly, despite all these issues that people are having with Balmung, I'm willing to fight this because if this is the service that Square Enix is presenting to us, my question to everyone is why are we supporting or rather STILL supporting this game in the first place?

I've been getting these since the server move and it's only been made worse with the insane queues with the surge of returning players and people exploiting the afk timer.

I honestly can overlook the queue times if the server was actually stable, but I'm spending way more time in queue than I am actually playing because there is no guarantee that I will be able to stay connected for as long as I plan.

Come over to Behemoth. We have a decent sized population but it isn't overcrowded. The last few days we have had a queue but its been small. Yesterday I was in a queue of 4 people at peak times and the day before it was a queue of 15. If you are interested you could even join my free company. We are always looking for new people.

The thing is, I've been consistently 90ked when balmung had a queue of 9.

Yea... I've been on Behemoth. It's always as dead as the other servers. Unless you have people that are roleplaying, the only cities that you'll find people are usually either Limsa Lominsa or any of the "endgame" areas like Mor Dhona or Idyllshire. Of course, once people finish a game, they're either in the endgame city or in the housing wards. You rarely ever see anyone anywhere. Though perhaps with all these server transfers, you might start seeing people in other places again...
