I find some of SAM's attacks to have a high pitched sound that frankly is rather hard on the ear. Anyone else feel the same way?

The charging sound from iaijutsu isn't my favorite ever. I don't know that I find it annoying per say, but it's not far off.
Agreed, it's horrible.
I also really dislike the generic ping-y sound effect they've used on healer cross-class skills. Very unpleasant.
Hmmmm I've yet to experience them, maybe it seems normal to me any specific move it makes them on? could also be a head phone setting depending on your sounds system.
I agree, in general I find the sound the SAM's make on most of their moves irritating as all sin.
Nooooooo, Midare Setsugekka sounds so cool! It's why it feels like it packs such a punch!
Perhaps people could just turn sound effects lower. Fire IV has a similar kind of sharp pitch before it explodes. Trick Attack is pretty loud, LB noise is pretty loud, Death Flare can be, all kinds of stuff!
DRK trumpet says hi!
The actual 'attack' sound (ie. Setsugekka) is fine. It's the charging sound that's happening while casting that bothers me, and I suspect others as well. (It's the only 'high pitched' sound I can think of off the top of my head.) My sound effects are already quite low; if they were any quieter I wouldn't be able to hear anything at all.
I have the same, there's this "shinnng" noise that the SAM makes that is very hard on the ears. I already have sound effects dialled down pretty low but I don't want to have to turn them off completely.
I don't mind the sound, but i did wonder if that was ever going to be a problem for some people. They should add the option of turning off that particular sound if you don't want it. Just a QoL improvement overall.
