Yep, Ive noticed it too.
Had about 30 or 40 successful hits in a row, and still did the same amount of dmg..
Tested light shot outside of ul'dah on level 1 coblyns did not see a difference in damage. Possibly only buffs attacks if used consecutively on the same monster?
I tested normal attack as well as different TP based skills, I tested it with different monsters and I tested it on one.
Always did the same amount of damage.
Something is broken here..or it is supposed to be that way, but if that's the case, they could have just dropped the skill and gave ARC more AoE skills.
I tested raging strike on the nm you need to kill for moogle. and it seemed to work fine. My light shots when from about 70-80 damage to about 110 with raging strike.
I agree with this assessment. On moogle fight my dmg increases to around 120 when RS is up. I'd say that the dmg bonus stacks on the current target only, resets when the mob is defeated, and is lost if you miss.
mine actually works, on a lvl 50 mob i was doing about 100 damage, it went up to about 120-130 after 3 hits.
ill have to test this, never noticed that it reset before.I agree with this assessment. On moogle fight my dmg increases to around 120 when RS is up. I'd say that the dmg bonus stacks on the current target only, resets when the mob is defeated, and is lost if you miss.
