Mythril Arrows and Vulture Feathers

Have any of you ever found a decent source of vulture feathers since 1.19 gave us the new arrow recipes? I've looked everywhere I can think of, which mostly consists of places I knew had vulture type birds in the past but no longer do thanks to their removal or replacement due to new grind mob packs or the efforts to ease the task of leve delivery for DoH.
I just find it strange that SE would add in a recipe for a high-mid range consumable that requires a feather that maybe 10 mobs in the game drop, and not put in a reliable source of that feather. They did do this with bomb ash, I wonder if it'll happen for vulture feathers in the future.

Only place I haven't tried is around Bald Knoll. I've seen a few birds there from time to time, but can't say for sure how effective it is. Either way, it can't be worse than south of Tiger Helm Island.

i remember going to dragonhead for some previously, although granted not alot, and they share spawns

well this fairly well convinces me that any significant source was patched out for one reason or another, and nothing was put in to replace it like they did with bomb ash and drifting duds
we either need a source of this material or a change in the recipe, cause it seems like if there's going to be a mid-range ammo recipe, there should be ingredients for it that are at least as common or more common than the ingredients for an ammo of a higher level and damage
