Thanks for correcting my correction, lol. Now I do remember having to find room for all that 50 gear while all my jobs were still 45. Surely would've made more sense to have all the 50 gear at the 50 quest.

You didn't get the i90 versions from those quests before HW. They were just tagged on later, to help people get up to speed with the patch content. I suspect it had to be shared between couple quests because there is a maximum amount of quest reward items for one quest that the system can handle, but I don't know that for sure.
