State Washington. Internet provider desert wind wireless. Date since 4.06 came out. World name malboro. keep getting kicked from server when have latency 30-40. Tired of failing leve's because of being kicked from server every 15 minutes or less. Doesn't matter what time play its the same.

Frequency: Latency problem started after the server moved, but i was not playing that much, was just getting ready for SB expansion), the lag was weaker, i could still play, even if it was bothering me sometimes. After Stormblood release it got worse (90k showed up) and after 4.01 it is just massive now. Rarelly i have half to one hour without a lag/90k, most of the times i get 2~6 seconds lag every 5~10 seconds or so and i get 90k now and then. I can't do instanced content anymore because people kick me out or i just die/let people die everytime... Actually i can't even craft properlly sometimes. Did some tests and found that i'm getting 10 ~ 17+ % packet loss right before i can reach server, always at the same spot >>> 204.2.229.234 (the same problem that i've seen that some people posted on this thread). Already tried to call my ISP and ask if they could solve this for me or something and they looked for it, but the answer was: "Since is out of our country (Brazil) we cannot solve this for you."

Date/Time: Moved to a new home, new ISP, HORRIBLE routing. Routing me through Singapore(!?!?) before routing back to the US.

Frequency: Rubber banding began tonight at around 6PM CST - consistent high ping/spiking since new ISP (Roughly 2 weeks ago). Old ISP was running 80ish ping. Now I sit at 130+ spiking to over 200.

Hop 6 is the Singapore(!?!?) hop that makes no sense, there's also a LOT of packet loss on your network servers. Please address these unnecessary routes!

Guys, people from South America linked to Telefónica ISP: Movistar (Chile), Vivo (Brazil), check your pings. It seems they fixed something and now is not sending us to Amsterdam as before. My ping just improved like almost 100. Hope for everyone is the same. It's a good start at last.

Confirmed: South America, Chile, Telefónica Movistar ISP is no longer routing through Europe. This leads to the following issue and I can see other South Americans are facing the same problem:

We're been routing to some node in New York which is adding a whooping 70ms to the total. If this jump could be avoided, we should be able to reach an average of 150ms which is awesome for us. Before migration we were reaching 190ms and this is reachable with VPNs (so I'll still be using VPN, sadly) . 220ms is still on the limit so it isn't enough, sadly. Hopefully we can get an answer to this... but it seems it's a problem NA is facing too.
