Spoiler: Question about character in cut scenes for Scholasticate and Hildibrand

So early on in both of the quest lines there was a dark person with no clothes on lurking in the shadows and watching as the main quest NPCs talked. It seems like this was never resolved? Unless I am just being dense and missing something obvious.

The Hildebrand one was his mom, Julyan. I don't remember for Scholasticate.

I don't remember this in the Schilasticate quests though.

I meant in the Further Hildibrand Adventures Quests (the heavensward ones).

I believe in the Scholasticate it is one of the two conspirators involved in trying to frame the noble and shut down the Scholasticate. Probably the priest.

The dark hyur is just meant as a stand-in for NPC's lurking on the main cast to show they are being watched without spoiling the player with who is watching. Not an actual character if thats what you mean.

The extremely long-running anime/manga Detective Conan depicts its perpetrators in the exact same way prior to revealing their identities, so I'm inclined to believe it's a shout-out to that.
