Thanks for the Custom Deliveries, Please add more :)

Had already mentioned I enjoyed the content previously but I was logging in today thinking "damn that last tier [Orphanage Donation] is a bit hard for my character to ace right now" and previously just settled for the very reasonable second tier collectible (appreciate that tier 1 and 2 are super generous lol). However, got in and noticed that it actually cycled to another item [Coerthan Souvenir] to collect and doesn't remain on the hardest one forever, so I can max it again no problem~!

Really liked a touch like that, was thinking I had basically screwed myself lol. I know it was said there will be more, but I wanted to specifically ask for more Custom Delivery NPCs haha. I also like the idea they have opportunity to change the areas like beastmen, even if sometimes its a smaller level like what they wear (as I believe was the example made when the system was introduced).

My fear and I don't have an immediate great solution is that you add quite a few, because that'd be awesome, but we have the allowance at 6 that really hampers us when you add more. Maybe they're so costly to design you wont add that many that quickly at least, but I'd be quite happy with like a few per city and even a few in select zones.. quickly adding up to like 30+ NPCs all stuffed behind "6 a week". (I assume not all will have the same rewards style and be DoL/DoH only, maybe some are DoW/DoL, DoH/DoW or cycling).

Again I don't have a grand suggestion for the above but maybe to keep the currencies and timers simple and compiled under one roof if you could revamp the leve token/system (seems like bots, crafters, and gathers are its main patrons - but I think it has a lot to offer now and in the future, just not that streamlined to use, and maybe not as rewarding either) and from there that could be the limiter on your custom deliveries/personal reputation quests (everyone is used to it stacking up, and refreshing at regular interval). The timers tab isn't bad, but we're slowly getting more and more unassociated tokens - 12 here, 6 there, 99 way over there, 500 max a week these, 450 max of those.. I understand somethings can't be bound together but if possible it might be nice.

This suggestion birthed from a tangent thought, but perhaps it would be convenient and better localized for the "Custom Deliveries" to be moved in with the reputation tab and organized there. So you'd have organization reputation such as "Smelty Smelty Goblin Inc.", and other beastmen (but not only), and then you'd have personal reputations like Zhloe. Your GC could be in the organization reputation I suppose, depends on how its designed.

Edit: Looked up what WoW's looks like at the moment since they have a truck load of reputations lol its: here. An interesting example to note is that the little +/- and the name Nat is actually a specific person that belongs to the The Anglers faction. So an example would be if you had reputation with Cid and Ironworks, and Cid would appear under Iron works.. that'd be nice. Unfortunately some people don't really follow any logic like that unless you wanted to create and force relationships like through Rowena's organization Zholoe appears under it, along with Rowena herself. Anyway just thinking the list is going to get longer and I find Custom Deliveries to basically be "personal level reputation" so all of it being neatly organized would be nice ^_^. Doesn't have to be their way, and its not like its "THEIRs" since that isn't a particularly unique way to display info, but just suggesting since i'd like to see more reputations and feel they're closely related to each other.

The tangent thought though was when I was looking at the FC page, you have the reputation of the three GC (under info tab in FC UI), usually two are low and irrelevant lol, perhaps the FC also gets a reputation tab and on it where you could also develop relationships for your FC with different factions. With a high standing with the goblins your FC can buy unique bomb items, and other goofy contraptions (a lot of fun could be had with shrink ray, super jump boots). Just another thing that FC could work on together, also adding that because the reputation tab includes personal contacts you'd also be able to build a relationship with specific people. Maybe your FC has personal working relationship with Cid and via that has access to building an airship mount project that allows players to purchase a unique mount from the FC reputation liaison.

I'm sure you already have a big list so I'm in no way attempting to make one, just random examples of the journey/end result being unique rewards (not really specified for FC or player, again random examples):

All of the below if associated with FC could also have unique structures/decoration options, perhaps to "get on Cid's level" requires a lot of work but unlocks a very neat exterior structure showing that FC's crafting capabilities.

Cid - access to airship blueprints and other interesting designs

Bart and Wedge - customization to your magitek mount, consider not just for this but all other possibilities too that you could also offer exclusive/unique NPC for housing. Maybe not "Aymeric" stuck at your house, but you could have new glamours, new shop items, perhaps a linkshell station with a list of "on call" NPC you could make requests from (like calling Cid's workshop to buy the mount). Just making sure its clear these could bind into housing neatly. For those who don't have a house, add it to the GC Garrison room and or another area in the game (obviously people won't be able to use the decorations they unlocked but at least they could do some of the other features).

Golden Saucer - Gain the Godbert run, Rocket Sword, and other goofy things (also thought it could be a "Golden Saucer Relic Quest" though and not a reputation system).

Moghome - some decorations and the ability to summon moogles for a party at the house (walk by a FC that has balloons and fireworks popping off, some moogles singing and dancing, party is an optional event that can be purchased from mogs lol). Floating cloud mallows.

Raubhan - Some monster hunting, pit fighting options, with decorations that revolve around monsters and perhaps unique glamours. There is the Ul'Dah Colosseum of course but perhaps the FC can build an offsite Colosseum with a teleport option, where you can collect and fight super monsters for rewards (like FFX monster hunting). If you get reputation in the Wolves Den you can upgrade it for not just monsters too - so in this example some reputable persons and organizations could complement each other's features in a literal way. PvE Colosseum unlocks inter-FC PvP options and layouts via Wolve's Den, as well adds new humanoid combatants to the list and maybe even ability to challenge the GC leaders to a mini raid (of course not a battle to the death).

Wolves Den - Glamour options like usual (part of the reputation could be just showing your PvP rank really, doesn't have to be a separate value but could be), ability to wear a battle flag/banner on your back (options include the city state flags, and your FC banner). I believe most PvP bought items shouldn't be locked behind the rank/reputation, making it clear I don't think the rank should lead to unfair advantage (just glamour or housing options). Other things like that. How the flag is applied would probably require a new system though, either a "trinket" slot or some sort of conversation via an NPC/item that you use but doesn't consume itself. Random google example for those confused on what I mean by a battle banner: here.

Goblins - Some goofy joke items like jump boots, water gun, super rickety gyro/helicopter thing. An item that drops a security alarm/camera for PvP might actually be pretty cool. Pings you if it detects someone at your base, or allows you to see its vision through an interaction.

Ishgard - chocobo breeding rights - leading to some more options (colors, tips, sizes, seating capacity, fluffy feathers like XIII), a lot of progress has been made on chocobos but I still feel like the bond experience could be improved, raising your own from birth could be part of that.. although know part of my judgment is clouded by FFXI/ and particularly WoW Hunter and that experience. The feeding animations are cute but for how often you do it and the reward it becomes a must skip. I imagine you could turn them into once a "insert interval here" set of mini-games while raising your chocobo that you can redo if you do poorly the next day. You can make up missed stats later but more slowly with food and trainers, even pay a trainer at early levels but it'd be more costly (once you set the standard it'll take care of itself for that interval, this would help prevent it from being so monotonous people want to skip it like the cool feeding animations you have).

Random aside on chocobo, I think the tattoo and barding of the legacy chocobo should be associated with your base chocobo because that's who they are (/legacymark toggle that changes the tips and tattoo, and barding becomes just like any other).

Anyway, tl;dr, I used to find the idea of approaching the higher tiers of crafting and gathering as very abrasive and off putting but then I took an arrow in the kne--. The big wall of gil and penta melds approached too dauntingly lol, but with the additions of things like Zhloe, Mog, Ixali quests it has made it less like an impossibility/something I "wouldn't" do. Making the progress feasible and enjoyable (liked watching the mog quest grow). Even if I don't become serious in crafting I like that I've been able to progress without feeling like it is pointless, or just not proceeding at all lol. Beyond the crafting specific boon you've been offering lately I also wanted to note I've enjoyed the beastmen growth, loved that the areas changed, and in a general sense I like the reputation systems as a whole (DoW/DoL/DoH). Would like to see more, and the system itself expand~

Random aside: Unsure about the whole crafter specialization thing (crafter job souls), seems like intense crafters will just make alts and casuals will be narrowed down to competing in three specific fields.. but maybe I don't have the data so I could be wrong :P.

Custom Deliveries is an ongoing feature and Zhloe is just the first of many planned NPCs to use it, so yep it's happening. More will be added during Stormblood series. I like them too.

I was talking about custom deliveries, and maybe it was just chance for me but I don't think so - each tier of Zhloe was harder than the previous and didn't switch cross the reset of custom deliveries (for story purposes i'm sure). Once I maxed Zhloe she was on the hardest one, one I couldn't ace (could tier 2 np though). Then the reset happened and I thought it was going to stay there akin to how GC/Ixali works but it actually dropped in difficulty again now that I'm max it doesn't just sit at the hardest one. (I know the turn in lists rotate on intervals but usually in a tight band upwards, the first Zhloe craft is way easier than the last lol).

I wasn't talking about maxing scrips but maxing the custom delivery reward (three tiers) . Basically I wasn't expecting Zhloe's demands to rotate and I was pleasantly surprised they did, am aware of the reset time because I use timers tab a lot ;D.

Yeah~! I know they said there will be more when they announced it (and they made examples how some may work) but I was just making sure they knew it was well received and encourage them to fiddle with the system too (variant creativity) . That and also had a few suggestions (like unifying the UI, giving FC more group projects and such :3).

Yes, once you're on the hardest tier each week has a chance to be any of the previous collectables if I'm not mistaken, albeit the lower ones give less reward than the highest
