What's going to happen to our pvp achievements?

With the new freelancer mode what does this mean for achievements obtained based on grand company?

For example if I'm maelstrom and sign as a freelancer for the flames, what happens when I win? Do I get points for "a line in the sand" or for "a line in the storm" achievement?

SE could award new achievement for freelancers and keep the grand companies achievement as is.

Patch notes said you will earn achievements for your own GC even if you participate as freelancer for other GC.

I interpeted that as meaning...unless youre on your default gc..you ain't gettin s***.

That's what I'm reading out of it as well. If you happen to get put into your actual GC, you'll earn credit towards your GC achievements. If you wind up in another GC, you won't get credit towards any GC achievements. We'll see how it goes for the "Lead any of the 3 GCs to X number of victories" achievements. Since those apparently reset if you switch GCs, I'd be surprised if you would earn credit for them if you're not on your GC's team.

I interpret this as 'you will not get 2 wins for 2 different GCs in 1 match if you are Freelancer'.

No way they'll remove wins counter for Freelancers, that's just absurd.

in german patchnotes it says that it will count towards the GC you actually belong too.
