Did not get a mount from an event.

My character obtained all of the Yo-kai Watch event pets, and only now am I realizing I did not receive the item that granted me the Whisper Ago mount. I would like this fixed as soon as possible. I have the achievement, and I have the pets, but no mount or item to grant me the mount.

Sounds like you missed talking to the NPC to actually get the mount. :/

There was no indication that you had to talk to an NPC, and the achievement itself lists the key as a reward for getting the achievement, so why would the achievement list the key if I was supposed to talk to someone else to receive it? Seems like backwards logic.

It is the practice from the start of the game to get your achievment award from that NPC. He gets introduced by the ingame help when you get your first achievment with an item as reward...

Only you can hope is you can claim the reward now after the event.The NPC is in Old Gridania by the Apkalu Falls.

It's an achievement reward, not an event reward. You should still be able to get the key even today. You are answering yourself here. Did you not get an achievement reward before? If not, then better sit back hehe because the NPC will have a few in stock for you
As for no indication about that NPC, wrong, you get introduced to him at some point when you start the game, so yes, you should have met him and therefore known that as an achievement reward he would be the person to see >_>

You get the mounts from the archivement NPC Jonathas in Gridania.
You have the archivement so you should be able to claim your rewards even if the event is ended.
