Error 1014 Midgardsormr 'World data could not be obtained'

When I logged in today I noticed that my character selection screen does not show my characters. I see there names on the right hand side to select them but not the character themselves. If I click on the names and try to login I got the error 'World data could not be obtained error 1014. I'm on [NA] Midgardsormr server. Anyone else having the same issue?

We're also on NA Midgardsormr and having the same problem. We got about an hour of play in, from about 10:00-11:00 AM PST, but then we both got booted and can't log back in again. Sometimes in the character screen we can see the characters, sometimes we only see the names, and sometimes even the names don't show up. If we do try to log in we get the 1014 error. My SO is on PS4, i'm on PS3. We've both tried existing and restarting the game with no luck. All the server trackers (including the official one) say that Midgardsormr is online.
