A Stage Reborn is performing a full adaptation of "I Want to Be Your Canary" from Final Fantasy IX in-game! Everybody is invited and it's free/open for all to attend including the XIV team, Mr. Yoshida, and any other Square Enix Staff. We know you're super busy with your jobs, but we would love to have you watch!

December 30th (Friday) and December 31st (Saturday)
Doors open at 4:30 P.M. PST, show starts at 5:00 P.M. PST.

(An encore performance may occur around 5:30 P.M. PST.)


Information on attending/viewing the event (i.e. house rules, camera settings) as well as photos from our photoshoot are available via our e-Flier at ASR.to/canary. Not on Diabolos? You can make a Lv. 1 alt. We have F.C. space just for cross-server visitors! Not in-game? It'll be live-streamed and archived later to YouTube! Got questions or comments? Post them below!

I actually think this is a pretty fun idea. And I've always found that play to be under appreciated. I probably won't be able to make it though, even on an alt.

Although the play itself is a very quick and abridged tragic romance, it made for an exceptional learning experience for the team. We've learned a lot of neat and amazing things you can do on FFXIV -- and hopefully you'll be able to see the results via the recording being posted later in January once the show closes.

We were hoping that, although the New Year is a busy time for a lot of people, it'd be the best time to catch as many people as possible for the show. Thank you for spreading the word! We look forward to seeing you there!

FFIX is one of my favorite FF games! I'll definitely be there!
