    Request (Player Quests Boards)

Can we have player request boards in specific towns that have players ask others to seek out things for rewards of the owner's have to offer gil and other items. It'd be a great way to have battle classes participate in the economy other than just market boards, also giving more interactions between players.

Party finder is ok, but it doesn't offer rewards or assurance of said reward. Doing a quest on these boards will have you obtain these items or find something specific like a hunt monster and post a location with the monster and info. Big maybe on the hunt idea though, may be a bit troubling, but I like the item and material idea.

Perhaps an escort into dungeons or raids and a separate player reward would be given after its completion. PF would help too but this assures a reward of sorts, maybe limiting only getting the player reward than the actual dungeon or raid ones.

What do you all think? Also feel free to add ideas.

I would love something like this that is outside of the weekly treadmill. Dungeon gear would be great for this.

For the scenarios where the applicant's "help" wouldn't be pulled into question then this sounds like a really, really cool and interactive idea - albeit I imagine it would need to come with many limitations and not leave much room for "custom quests" since I can easily see people spamming the list with absurd requests. With that in mind, the Devs themselves would need to be the ones deciding all of the possible uses beforehand so that might hinder creativity a bit, but even then, some things would be better than none at all. This would really give a neat adventurer feel to party interaction I think so even if I wouldn't use it much(if at all) I'd actually be pretty excited to see this added.

    Things I can think of:
    Details to note...
~Rewards are liberated from the Quest-giver and "secured" by the game to ensure they don't back out prematurely after they get what they want.
~Participants must launch within an allotted time after both parties accept and launch the quest via an interface.
~Quest-Givers will be referred to as 'Employers' and Quest-Takers will be referred to as 'Adventurers'.

    Clear runs -
-Have a specific role and/or iLevel character(s) accompany you for a specific dungeon.

-Reward is forfeited and returned to Employer if Adventurer abandons quest, remains offline for 30 minutes+ or fails to deploy before the initial launch time allotment expires.
-Reward is forfeited and claimed by Adventurer if Employer abandons quest, remains offline for 30 minutes+ or fails to deploy before the initial launch time allotment expires.
-Reward is temporarily claimed by the system if either party launches an appeal in which they choose to accuse the other party of being uncooperative(i.e refusing to Tank).

    Farm runs -
-Have a specific role and/or iLevel character(s) accompany you for a specific dungeon up to three times.
-An interval period is specified by Quest-giver.

-Reward is forfeited and returned to Employer if Adventurer abandons quest, remains offline for 30 minutes+ or fails to deploy for subsequent duties before the interval time OR initial launch time allotment expires.
-Reward is forfeited and claimed by Adventurer if Employer abandons quest, remains offline for 30 minutes+ or fails to deploy for subsequent duties before the interval time OR initial launch time allotment expires.
-Reward is temporarily claimed by the system if either party launches an appeal in which they choose to accuse the other party of being uncooperative(i.e refusing to Tank).

(Okay, from here my imagination is getting a bit carried away but can you blame me?)

    Protection -
-Have a specific role and/or iLevel character accompany you as a DoL for a specified period of time.
-A number of terms are set by Employer which detail the terms of failure. Examples include 'Total death allowance' and 'Total Cancelled Node Interaction Allowance'.
-Specific maps or 'All' can be selected, though Adventurer must be attuned to all aetherytes in sanctioned areas to accept quest.

-Reward is forfeited and returned to Employer if Adventurer abandons quest, remains offline for 30 minutes+ or fails any of the detailed objectives.
-Reward is forfeited and claimed by Adventurer if Employer abandons quest, remains offline for 30 minutes+ or exits the designated map(s).

(In response to this, future gathering node locations can be made especially dangerous with extra enemies and/or having stealth mode not be 100% reliable in return for offering high-yield rewards).

    Medic -
-Have a healing class accompany you for a specified period of time.
-A number of terms are set by Employer which detail the terms of failure. For example, 'Total death allowance'.
-Specific maps or 'All' can be selected, though Adventurer must be attuned to all aetherytes in sanctioned areas.
-Deaths in non-sanctioned maps will not affect the quest.
-If the Employer leaves a sanctioned map and then later returns to one, a free teleport option will allow the Adventurer to immediately teleport to their location so as to not cause an unwitting failure.
-A two minute grace period will apply in which all terms of failure are rendered non-applicable should the Adventurer not yet have arrived to a map recently transitioned to by the Employer.

-Reward is forfeited and returned to Employer if Adventurer abandons quest, remains offline for 30 minutes+ or fails any of the detailed objectives.
-Reward is forfeited and claimed by Adventurer if Employer abandons quest, remains offline for 30 minutes+.

(Teleport feature would work similar to the Eternal Bond Ring and would be reset each time a sanctioned map is exited and then re-entered).

Right. I think that's quite enough to make myself look completely silly and delusional. I think I'll leave it at that!

Only on our server lol. Either way, I endorse this idea, although I'm not sure exactly what this would accomplish since we already have party finder, but I'm all about more avenues to do some stuff.
