Toilets in Eorzea!?... Can we have them for realism's sake!?...

I've been thinking about the housing side of Eorzea and I think it's fair to ask of the Dev Team:

Can we have toilet furniture!?...

I like the realism in FFXIV and we have all kinds of things for house decoration but I've yet to see a toilet, be it a room or the fixture itself, we have showers and bathtubs so why can't we have toilets as well!?, it's not like Eorzeans don't have such needs!...

I keep thinking I'll make a bathroom and put a bucket in there in place of a toilet, then I remember that we don't even have a bucket furnishing! The entire realm is doomed to defecate in Terracotta Pots.

But to be fair that was a major (and silly) debate over on a certain roleplayer's website for like a year after launch. Many still make fun of the hardcore RPers that really took it to seriously.

Depending on where they live, I'd imagine there are outhouses or similar facilities. It's most likely they do it outside and in bodies of waters like what people did in the olden days.

Actually it's called that to deter people from fishing there because it's a super profitable fishing spot apparently.

On topic though, I just figured we pissed and shat in rivers cause of the lack of toilets everywhere.

If you get creative you can make a toilet with existing furnishings that looks realistic (within the game aesthetics anyway it isn't going to look like porcelain obviously). So I personally don't think they need to spend development time on making a specific one :x

I made one even though I don't RP. The bathroom seemed aesthetically unfinished without one.
