How PL'ing killed FFXIV.

So, do u mean normal xp pt could kill 10 level higher mob in 2 mins? Due to higher lvl mob alwasy gif better xp than lower lvl mob (e.g L40 Ant would hv better xp than L30 Ant for capped xp). For PL, easily can do L40++ Mob with no doubt. How could this be not massive different?

it is. they are making up facts. since this 1.19a patch you can still easily get leveled from 1-50 in 5-6 hours total and that is still being power leveled.

Player A deals 5% initial damages on Target X, Target X is a difficult match for Player A.
Player B deals 95% damages on Target X.

Blatant case of PL, right (% can vary)?
In that case:

Player A experience points received are reduced by ??, as if Target X was slightly higher level (or more) than Player A.

That way, we keep our awesome claiming system and PL can still happen with a benefit for killing higher level monsters, but the benefit is reduced. Which prevents bad players from harassing others by killing their targets to reduce their experience points (call a GM if harassing continues). Also, it keeps experience chain functional to prevent accidental loss of experience chain.

Hopefully this could help calm the "anti-PL" feeling.

I was getting about 125k per hour in a balanced exp party in copperbell mines a couple of weeks ago.

The post above mine isn't quite right. You can certainly level fast in there but I've never heard of anyone getting 300k per hour anywhere in the game. Ultimately the point is that in Copperbell (as well as a few other prime leveling locations) and with a balanced party of players with reasonable gear you can easily break 100k per hour. PLing is usually around 150k per hour. The difference between PLing and a good exp party then isn't really massive.

It is completely correct since I did it for a lot of my classes. When I PL'd with a buddy so we had 2 PL's 2 leeches my brother got:
