Since it’s getting closer to the release of patch 1.21, I can tell you all that we are planning to release the 3rd player survey post patch 1.21. The survey has categories such as “battle” and “crafting/gathering” so we wanted to let you all experience patch 1.21 before answering the survey as we felt this would have a greater effect and give us better information. (By the way, the survey theme is FFXIV overall and 2.0)

No, they will postpone the poll until mid march early april under the guise of "players having a well rounded experience with 1.21".

The real reason for the delay is to stave off rabid forum goers and toss them something to debate about other then the inevitable delay of patch 1.22.
Se is still trying to work out the formula of how to balance customer relations. Right now we're in the "how long can we get away with it" phase.

Was wondering what happened to that survey you guys mentioned. This makes sense and I agree it would be better to get polls after people experience 1.21, go team.

I think that counts as "battle" since they are battle classes =P

Right now we're in the "how long can we get away with it" phase.

They've been in that phase since September 2010 more or less.
