Nope, some of the mistakes were fixed for the Japanese edition which was published a few months after the English one. Koji has addressed some of the errors in this thread or in interviews, but I honestly wouldn't expect any changes to the print version until/unless we get a second edition (i.e one updated after Stormblood's patches are complete). Even with the errors I still love my Encyclopedia. There are only a few that really stand out when reading it; most of them are fairly minor, such as spelling. Mistakes in these sort of books aren't uncommon-- Bioware's World of Thedas Vol. 1 is a bit infamous in the online fandom for its errors.

I'm gonna echo the sentiment above me - this book is incredible. Buy it anyways; even with the errors (which really are incredibly scattered and minor), it's easily worth the money, and is an absolute must-own for any fan of this game and its world.

I never buy merchandise of any kind. This book is the only thing I ever wanted to buy. I see it as a physical souvenir which will make my bookcase more beautiful and when the years gone and I stop playing XIV this book will stay there to remind me the world I used to spend my time. In any case they could fix those errors even if they are minor.
Can we at least get an official response if those errors has been fixed or any plans to be fixed? Please Koji let us know.

Would love to buy one. Sadly, as far as I can tell, they are sold out and no second printing has been scheduled. Likely the only way to get your hands on one is through e-bay, or whatever.

In Europe they are available. Same for NA that I checked yesterday. Where did you see that they are not available?

Strange... When I attempted to place the order months ago, I was put on a waiting list as there were none in stock, and was informed that I'd get an e-mail once they were. No such e-mail ever came. Looking at the store now, though, it appears that they are available again.

Tried to place an order, and the system choked on both my credit cards for whatever reason. I'll try again when I get home. Still, it DOES appear that the goods are in stock again!

An image utilized on the page shows the position of XIVth Legion strongholds transposed on a map of Eorzea.

What has been called Castrum Marinum (including on Pages 59 and 142, at least) is labeled Castellum Marinum.

In the year 1552, the leader of the republic, Solus Galvus, declared Garlemald an empire and appointed himself emperor.
This should be 1522. 1552 was the conclusion of the Othardian campaign with the annexation of Doma.

    Heading: Southern Thanalan
    Subheading: Zahar'ak
Loosely translated as "land of perseverance," Zahar'ak is the main stronghold for the Amalj'aa host based in their native Paglth'an. The beast tribe believes the scorched plains of Thanalan to be hallowed ground blessed by the cleansing flames of their primal deity, Ifrit, and as such are intent on driving from the land all whom they deem invaders.
    059 Vista Record - Zahar'ak
Loosely translated as "land of perseverance," Zahar'ak is the forward stronghold for the Amalj'aa host based in Zanar'ak. The beast tribe believes the scorched plains of Thanalan to be hallowed ground blessed by the cleansing flames of their primal deity, Ifrit, and as such are intent on driving from the land all whom they deem invaders.
Don't know if this is an actual error or just two different ways of describing the same location. The second sentence is the same between the two entries though and feels like a better description of Zanar'ak then Paglth'an. I looked though the rest of the location descriptions and this is the only description that mentions a different location compared to it's Sightseeing Log in-game.

The Encyclopædia's information on Cid's airship, the Enterprise, conflicts with the in-game description of the "Model Enterprise" minion.

Was it constructed before or after Cid defected? The sources seem to contradict one another.
