    Unable to access main character

    The supervising GM I just spoke to advised me to post this here instead of my post in the technical support thread, which can be found here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ror-Code-90002

    After updating to patch 3.4 last week my primary character has been unable to login at all. Since I was getting error code 90002, I've been pointed to various troubleshooting methods that centered around my ISP. After contacting my ISP, they reported no problems with my connection and suggested I speak to technical support for the game. I then contacted Square's support and they walked me through various methods in order to get my character online (e.g. opening ports, changing settings via IE, different connections, etc).

    I've even had multiple members of my Free Company try logging into my account and they get the same result. About 7-10 seconds into the loading screen I get a "connection with the server has been lost" message. I've tried various methods suggested by both Square's support website and my ISP. Nothing has worked (and they each point to the other as the culprit I should dealing with). A GM even tried moving that specific character to a starting city today and I still get the same error.

    Other details: When I first attempted to login to the game after the 3.4 patch went live, I got a ten minute "now loading" screen that showed the Eorzean map instead of where I initially logged out from (Idyllshire). That extended loading screen only happened once and the server disconnection errors started after that.

    I'm able to access alternate characters on the same server and my internet connection works perfectly fine otherwise. The connection status changes from "excellent" to "poor" after attempting to login to that specific character, but changes back to excellent once I access an alternate.

    Character Name: "Corporate Panic" (the character's name was originally "Zhu Systrata", but I changed it in an attempt to troubleshoot)

    Current Location: Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks (GM moved the character to this location for me)
