Tank Design Contest Semi-Finalists

Okay not sure if a thread like this is allowed but I am making one to drum up feedback, as our feedback might help the developers see what we want in the game, or it could bite us in the arse, who knows. Anyways, everyone should check out this thread http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...5ca910c759f5b4 and see what possible new armor we might get.

I also would like to draw players attention to this particular entry.

First: I am not him, nor do I know him or her
Second: I am pointing out this particular entry because I feel this is the type of design we need. Too many of the Tank/DPS/Healer designs fall into a common category. But this, THIS, is something new, something fresh. This is a welcome change to every design we've seen thus far. This shows the creativity that we all want from this game. And I personally feel it should be rewarded. XD

I'm not really fond of the tribal design for tanking personally. My taste is for plate armor to look like plate, but after reviewing the entries and looking them over pretty thoroughly:

First of all i'de like to say, guys, you are really REALLY talented ! I would not like to be in the dev team and have to choose between them xD

We're not voting on these, the judges will be picking the winners themselves (they probably learnt their lesson from the hair design contest and are never letting us vote for anything ever again, we just can't be trusted).

From these shortlisted entries, we will be selecting our grand prize entry to implement into the game.

* The final judging process will be conducted on the finalist’s entries, and the winning entries will be announced on or about Saturday, August 27, 2016.

I feel like the Goobbue suit should be wearable for all classes instead.
